Internship In the fall semester before planned graduation; students complete REC 660 a 3 unit seminar and select an internship agency. Then in their final spring semester they take a 12 unit Directed Field Experience in an appropriate recreation or leisure services setting. A minimum of 800 hours of paid or volunteer work in recreation settings, completion of all foundation and emphasis area courses and General Education requirements are required prior to enrolling in the Directed Field Experience. |
